"In June 2022 I got covid and was never the same. I knew something was wrong when weeks later I was struggling to keep my body upright. I was experiencing sudden weak muscles, and I couldn’t stand and at times hold a spoon or a fork up to eat.
I began experiencing pain in my joints when I woke up, losing weight, weak muscles and cramps, dysautonomia, dry eyes, mouth and skin, migraines, brain fog, IBS, high blood pressure and cholesterol, and a host of other issues that no doctor can pinpoint.
I visited different types of specialists and received all types of medication to combat something that no doctor knew what I had. This continued until January 2024. A new doctor I never met before looked at me and said, “you’re too young to be experiencing all these symptoms”. I had bloodwork done and it showed I had primary Sjogren’s syndrome with lupus and rheumatoid arthritis as secondary. I felt defeated because I knew I would have to battle this for the rest of my life.
I was taking over 10 different prescription medications for all my symptoms with very little improvement. I decided to start studying Ayurveda to get a better understanding of my health and healing. I am so happy that I did. I met with Vaidya Sharma at Maharishi International University.
She checked my pulse and confirmed all of diagnosis and imbalances. She explained to me clearly what was causing my disease and what types of food and herbs to take to assist in bringing my autoimmune disease into remission. Within 2 weeks of taking herbal medication prescribed by Vaidya Sharma, I felt a huge difference. Most of my autoimmune symptoms have resolved themselves.
I understand that it will take time for my body to go into remission and I am committed to continuing my holistic lifestyle under the guidance of Vaidya Sharma."

She has the experience and skill to clearly assess imbalances on all levels and then lays out an individualized Ayuvedic program that is targeted and doable.
